This brochure includes your rights to access your health records, how your information may be used or shared, and instructions for filing a complaint under HIPAA.
Aura Health & Wellness complies with all applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Maryland Confidentiality of Medical Records Act, and protections for mental health, HIV, and reproductive health information. We will not release sensitive information without your written authorization.

Aura Health & Wellness responds to patient requests for records, amendments, or disclosures within the timeframes required by HIPAA (typically within 30–60 days).
Telehealth Privacy
All telehealth visits are conducted using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology.
We protect all information shared during telehealth visits, whether via audio-video or audio-only communication, in accordance with federal and state privacy laws.
